Game Of Nations is a clean crossover gag for two tribes who turn out to be the same people. It takes the saga of warring kingdoms battling for one crown and maps it neatly onto the championship, where six proud nations scrap it out for a single title every winter. Anyone who has spent a Saturday roaring at the telly and a Sunday arguing over allegiances will get it straight away. Printed on a thick 280gsm sweatshirt that is 80% ringspun cotton, it is warm as toast and made for exactly the cold months when both the rugby and the box-set bingeing hit their peak. This is the layer for the fan who knows their fixtures and their houses in equal measure, and who treats both as appointment viewing.
The pun lands because the parallel writes itself. Rival nations, ancient grudges, a brutal campaign every winter and one prize at the end of it, the championship really is its own game of thrones. We leaned into that overlap rather than over-explaining it, trusting the right fan to grin the second they read it. There is no need to spell the joke out, because the people who get it got it years ago. The soft cotton-faced fabric and high-definition print mean it looks sharp at the pub and feels good on the sofa for a marathon viewing session. It is made for the supporter whose winter is a careful balance of match days and episode drops. People often grab this with the rest of our Six Nations gifts when they want something that nods to the bigger picture of the championship.
A winter sweatshirt has to do two jobs, keep you warm on a freezing afternoon and still raise a smile in a crowded room. Game Of Nations manages both. The generous fit and thick 280gsm fabric handle a cold day on the side of the pitch, and the gag does the social work the moment a fellow fan spots it. It is the kind of design that starts a conversation before kickoff and keeps it going through extra time, usually with someone insisting their nation is the true heir to the throne. For the fan who treats the championship like the only war worth following, that is a sweatshirt earning its place in the winter rotation.
What is the Six Nations sweatshirt made from and how is it printed?
The Six Nations sweatshirt is a thick 280gsm blend of 80% ringspun cotton and 20% polyester, finished with a high-definition print. The soft cotton-faced fabric is warm as toast, and the print stays crisp through repeated washes rather than cracking or fading over a long winter.
How does the sweatshirt fit and sizing run?
This sweatshirt has a generous fit, so it layers easily over a shirt on a cold match day. Previous customers find it a comfortable cut for both men and women. Check the sizing chart before ordering, and if you like room to layer underneath, take your usual size.
When does it ship and can it be personalised?
Your Game Of Nations sweatshirt is printed to order in 1 to 2 production days, then shipped within a 1 to 3 day window in the UK. This design is not personalised, as the crossover gag works on its own, so it ships exactly as shown and ready to wear.
Who is the Game Of Nations design best for?
This design suits the fan who loves the championship and the fantasy saga in equal measure. It makes a knowing gift for a mate who quotes both the fixtures and the episodes, perfect for the winter weekends when rugby and the box set go hand in hand.
