Merry Drunk Xmas Jumper
It is the line everyone fumbles by the fourth pint at the club do, and now it is stitched across your chest before you slur it yourself. Here is the jumper for the one who peaks at the bar and owns it.

There is always one who gets the words the wrong way round somewhere around the third round, and turns Merry Christmas into Merry Drunk without meaning to. This wears the slip on purpose. It is for the bloke who is first to the bar, last to leave, and proud of both, the one whose toast collapses into a giggle every single year. The print is bold and clean across a 280gsm cotton-faced jumper that is warm enough to keep on from the first pint to the taxi queue, which on this form is the whole evening anyway. There is no pretending here that he is going to pace himself, and that is exactly the charm. He knows how the night ends, the squad knows, and now his jumper has said it out loud before he gets the chance to. It is the festive uniform for the reliable liability of the club, the mate everyone keeps half an eye on and would not swap for the world.
The gag works because it is the exact mistake half the room is about to make anyway. Swap the order of two words and the festive greeting becomes a confession, the slurred version of the real thing that arrives a few rounds in. That is why it lands so easily on the rugby crowd, where the post-match pint is half the point of turning up. We print it bold and clean so it reads from across a crowded bar, the kind of line you clock before you have even reached the wearer. Then we put it on a heavyweight sweatshirt so it holds up to a December that involves more than one party and more than one questionable toast. The joke does not need spelling out. Everyone has either been this person or stood next to them at the bar, and the recognition is instant. That shared, slightly sheepish grin is exactly what the design is going for.
A jumper built for the bar needs to take a knock and still look the part by closing time. This one runs generous in the fit, with room for a long lunch and a few too many, and the taped neck means no scratching while you hold court and lose your thread halfway through a story. The twin-needle stitching keeps the seams honest through every round, so it survives the night and comes back from the wash ready to do it again. Backed by 1,800+ verified reviews, it lines up neatly with the rest of our rugby Christmas jumpers if your round of mates fancies arriving as a team and leaving in a state. It is a gift that picks itself, because every group has the obvious candidate, and handing it over is half a compliment and half a warning.
What is the Merry Drunk Christmas Jumper made from and how is it printed?
The Merry Drunk Christmas Jumper is a thick 280gsm sweatshirt, 80% ringspun cotton and 20% polyester, with a soft cotton-faced finish. The design is printed using a high-definition method that stays sharp wash after wash, and the neck is taped for comfort so it sits well through a long night at the bar.
How does the sizing fit on this Christmas jumper?
This Christmas jumper is unisex and runs with a generous fit, so most people find their usual size works well with room for a layer underneath. It comes in sizes from XS through to 5XL, and previous buyers consistently report the sizing is accurate, so order your normal size unless you want it roomier.
How quickly does the Merry Drunk Christmas Jumper ship and can it be personalised?
The Merry Drunk Christmas Jumper is made to order in 1 to 2 production days, then shipped on a 1 to 3 day service within the UK. This design is not personalised, it ships exactly as shown so the slurred-greeting gag lands as drawn.
Who is the Merry Drunk Christmas Jumper actually for?
The Merry Drunk Christmas Jumper suits the mate who is reliably three drinks ahead and proud of it, the one who fluffs the toast every year. It is built for the rugby club Christmas do, the pub crawl, or any festive night out where the punchline is going to happen whether you plan it or not.
